Sidley 3rd XI produced another exciting win, this time against Seaford 4th XI on The Ridge. Batting first, the visitors made 183. Andy took 3-42, and Liam 2-24.
In reply, Peter made an important 53 to set us on the road to victory amidst several other wickets falling quickly (as is traditional!), and it was left to Phil (28), Liam (25) and Jim (43*) to see us past the visitors' total with plenty of overs in hand.
The unbeaten run is certainly giving the team confidence, and the feeling that, with the depth of batting in the side, we can win from the unlikeliest of situations. Everyone is really enjoying the matches, which is the key, and the youngsters in the side are all getting plenty of opportunity to show what they can do. Well done to Peter for guiding the team so well.
