Sidley v. Uckfield Anderida II (A) & Maresfield II (H)

Sidley have been out of action since their victory against St. Peter's 4th XI on Saturday, August 4th, as both Uckfield Anderida 2nd XI (August 11th) and Maresfield 2nd XI (August 18th) could not raise sides and so had to concede. While this was very disappointing, Sidley did gain 30 points for each of those games and remain top of Sussex League Division 12 East.

There are 2 fixtures left - Burwash Weald (H) on August 25th, and Crowhurst Park 3rd XI (A) on September 1st.

Sidley currently have 391 points, Wadhurst 369 and Tunbridge Wells 4th XI 361, so two wins will see Sidley as league champions. Securing the title is very much in their own hands. All three title chasers have, on the face of it, relatively easy fixtures in these last two weeks of the season.
