Maiden century sees Sidley to maximum points

Thanks to a sparkling maiden century from Jamie Ramsden (106 n.o.), Sidley managed to reach their winning target with 7 wickets and almost 10 overs to spare. Having won the toss, Josh Bull put the home side in to bat and saw them struggle to 81-5 before eventually setting Sidley a testing total of 244-8 declared. Mark Gransden took 3-26 off 11 overs, and Steve Ramsden, Craig Ramsden, Helen Harrod, Trevor Ramsden and Cavan O'Connor each took one wicket.

Sidley openers Jamie Ramsden and Simon Newstead (30) put on 58 in 14 overs, with Paul Oxborrow (15), and Steve Ramsden (62 n.o. - with 54 of those coming in boundaries) helping to rocket the score on to maximum points and second place in the league.
