Seaford match a wash-out

Seaford 4th XI  25-0 (5 overs)  - 9 points

Sidley CC  did not bat  - 9 points

After travelling down to Seaford and winning the toss, ten-man Sidley bowled only 5 overs at the hosts before the heavens opened and the match was abandoned.

James Mott bowled 3 overs for 18 runs, and Craig Ramsden 2 overs for 4 runs.

Next Saturday, August 5th, Sidley are at home to third-placed Mayfield 3rd XI for what should be a very competitive encounter on the league title run-in.

With a free week on August 19th, Sidley have only two fixtures left after next Saturday - Lewes Priory 2nd XI away on the 12th, and Tunbridge Well Borderers 3rd XI on the 26th.

St. Peter's, currently in second place in the league, and 20 points behind Sidley in the league, do have a game in hand.
