Sidley had a very comfortable win on Saturday against Tunbridge Wells Borderers. The home side were asked to bat first and struggled against some tidy, accurate bowling by Andy Pearson (5-41 off 15 overs), Craig Ramsden (2-36 off 9.1 overs) and Mark Grandson (2-7 off 7 overs).

In reply, openers Ian Mollart (36 n.o.) and Simon Newstead (51 n.o.) quickly took Sidley to victory in only 14.2 overs, ensuring that maximum points were gained.

The result placed Sidley just 5 points behind league leaders St. Peter's, who are due to visit the Sandhurst Recreation Ground this coming Saturday for what should be a highly, competitive match.
