Opening batsmen Ian Mollart and Simon Newstead in action at the Sandhurst Recreation Ground yesterday. They put on 65 for the first wicket before Sidley slumped to 129 all out, chasing the visitors' 235-5. Ian scored 50, and Simon 32. Unfortunately, Sidley were one player short on the day. The result leaves Sidley still in second place, but now well behind leaders Bells Yew Green.
