Glynde & Beddingham 4th XI: 119 (42 overs)
Sidley 3rd XI: 122-5 (23 overs)
Tidy bowling restricted the home side, who elected to bat, to a modest total. Stuart Craig took 3-25, Dane Capon 2-14, Craig Ramsden 2-17, and Andy Pearson 1-36. Not for the first time this season, though, Extras was second top scorer with 22!
In response, all the Sidley batsmen made an impression, managing to get into the teens, but it was left to the experienced Phil Crittenden to hold the innings together with an impressive 43 n.o.
It was good to see the Cricket Club President, Mark White, turning out for the side, together with his son John.
Well done again to everyone concerned for another important victory. Now for the key match against Mayfield at the Sandrock this coming Saturday!
