Sidley 3rd XI v. Maresfield 2nd XI

In a very tense, exciting match at Maresfield, Sidley nearly gained a dramatic victory against the home side. Scoring a solid 168-7, with good contributions from Paul (22), Simon (26), Craig (22) and Ross (38*), Sidley reduced Maresfield to 158-8 at close of play. Craig again showing real promise with the ball, taking 4-39, with Andy bowling a very tight 22 overs, and Rory making several batsmen jump towards square leg with his pace. Everyone is pleased with the determination and team spirit now being shown by the team. Many thanks again to John for his excellent umpiring.
